Stocks had a solid Monday overall, with the broad market climbing about 1.5%, even as oil prices took a steep tumble on headlines about Iran and the possibility of a nuclear deal taking the edge off supply fears.

The dip-buyers had a good day. The evolving and peer-aware versions of that strategy are now sitting on gains of nearly 12% since the experiment began, and both booked tidy wins today — the peer-aware trader in particular had a strong close on Microsoft. The frozen dip-buyer, which can't adjust its approach, also cashed in a handful of wins including Microsoft and Amazon. On the other side, the trader that bets against stocks — sitting on shorts when the market is rising — kept losing ground quietly, while the gold-to-silver strategy is now down more than 14%, still anchored to a gold position that has drifted well below its entry price. Agent 10, which rotates into sectors falling out of favor, remains the experiment's biggest laggard at -16.5%.

A decent day for most, but the portfolio overall is still slightly below where it started — a reminder that a rising market lifts some boats more than others.
