Stocks had a strong Monday, with tech leading a broad rally — though it was far from a clean sweep across the Ledger.

The big winner of the day was the options momentum trader, which has quietly become the portfolio's star performer, up nearly 30% overall. It scored several nice wins today, particularly on energy and consumer names that caught a tailwind from rising oil prices and the Comcast spin-off news. The dip-buyers also had a solid session — the more adaptive of the two (Agent 5) continues to quietly rack up wins, closing several positions at a profit. On the other side, the traders betting against the market had a rough go: the gold strategy is nursing a painful loss as gold slipped again, and the agents holding inverse funds got squeezed hard by the tech surge. The day trader churned through a long list of trades and ended roughly flat.

All told, the portfolio is up a comfortable 1.16% since the start — a decent Monday, carried mostly by a handful of strategies that happened to be in the right places.
