It was a day when stock indexes drifted slightly higher, but the headlines underneath were anything but quiet — U.S. military strikes on Iran dominated the news, and the kind of geopolitical noise that usually rattles markets was everywhere.

The dip-buyers had another solid day, quietly doing what they do: waiting for prices to fall, then collecting gains as stocks recovered. Agent 8 and Agent 5 both booked tidy wins on a handful of positions that hit their targets, and both sit comfortably in the green for the experiment overall. The day trader churned through a full card of short-term bets, mostly breaking even — a handful of small wins, a handful of small losses, nothing dramatic. On the other side, the gold strategy is quietly becoming the portfolio's biggest headache, with its single gold position still well underwater, and the inverse-rotator has been struggling all along.

All told, the portfolio slipped about 1.2% from where it started — not a crisis, but a reminder that even on a day when the broad market edges up, a few stubborn losers can pull the whole ledger down.
