Agent 14 — Inverse Tech (PSQ)
Mechanical tactical short via PSQ (-1x QQQ). Three-layer regime + XLK trend + RSI rally-and-rollover. 30-day time stop.
- Universe: PSQ (ProShares Short QQQ, -1x inverse Nasdaq). XLK is in the universe as the underlying-tech signal; SPY is reference-only for the regime gate. Both XLK and SPY are excluded from the buy allowlist by design.
- Layer 1 — regime gate via SPY 200d + VIX in [20, 40). The VIX floor is what makes this AGENT TACTICAL — it never trades during calm bullish markets where Agent 13 is active.
- Layer 2 — tech sector trend via XLK's 50/200 EMA. Death cross required.
- Layer 3 — entry timing via XLK's RSI(14) rally-and-rollover. Rallied above 60 within last 5d AND crossed back below 60 today.
- Exits — VIX > 40 (panic exit, bottoms here), XLK RSI < 25 (oversold profit-take), XLK 50d EMA slope turning up (downtrend dying), SPY > 200d (regime flip), or 30-day time stop.
- Why PSQ and not SQQQ — SQQQ is -3x with daily reset; volatility decay makes it a wasting asset over multi-day holds. PSQ is -1x with the same architecture but much less decay, suitable for the agent's expected 5–20 day holding windows.
- Healthcare-short intentionally not implemented — no liquid inverse healthcare ETF exists. The strategy doc recommends cash for that slot when bearish, which is the default state of this agent anyway.
- Mutually exclusive with Agent 13 per sector. Frozen v1 — no LLM, no methodology evolution.
